developing work on Attachment theory.

In this piece i continue to explore the Buddhist theory of attachment causing our sufferings. Unlike the first piece where i actually tested the theory by leaving my sentimental letters in an alleyway this piece uses symbolism to suggest the theory. ​The balloon is attached to various books on the theme of flying and aerodynamics. in fact the only thing stopping it from flying into the air is its attachment to these learnings and beliefs. The left hand picture is the original sketch of the idea and the image on the right is the developed piece upon completion presented in the gallery space.
